This Saturday I'm playing at Thunderdommel with one of my wives: Sarie. To get a better idea of what the hell all the commotion is about, I called Rene Bakkerus, one of the founders of Biki90 and Carnaval anno 2012.

After saying that they will go even bigger and crazier than last year, Rene sent me some amazing Youtube movies that are beyond absurd. I can't find the words to describe it, but this is how they do it in Eindhoven!

Stukafest Maastricht invited me to play at the endparty of an incredible evening. I asked Astrid Cats what Stukafest is all about:

Tuesday night, February 7th: 16 students of Maastricht will turn their student room into a stage and host an international performance. The audience of over 300 students, move from one student room to the next to see their favourite shows. Sitting or standing between desks and laundry baskets, leg to leg on a bunk bed - in the student rooms the act is naturally intimate and cosy.

Come and enjoy the beautiful play and vocals of Lily Grace, to then get creative with Menno Baars and finally end in the poetic dreamworlds of Vivian Rose. Or get rocking, and find solace with the boys of Palais Noir and stone stacker Nick Steur. Or maybe you decide to go on an emotional roller coaster and laugh yourself to near death with Heug, to then philosophize about the dark sides of this reality with Thomas Dudkiewicz... After three rounds of room concerts, students and performers get together in D'n Hiemel to put on their dancing socks and dance the night away on the legendary Afterparty with DJ Cursed P.

A dance night that says they are: progressive, innovative, experimental, challenging and creative? Don’t they all say that? With GLOW it’s a different story!

Glow is a collective from ‘s Hertogenbosch, consisting of dj’s, vj’s, artists, volunteers and students. They strive to organise artistic and multimedia music nights. At first they aimed at the local music- and art lovers, but now that Glow is starting to grow they are looking for new challenges.

Since a couple of months CLUB GLOW is organised in Plein 79, a rock café in the heart of ‘s Hertogenbosch. With these club nights Glow is widening the boarders of their musical program. ELECTRA is one of those nights and is specialised on electro and all of it’s subgenres. And guess what: Electra is tonight! A call to all you ‘s Hertogenbosch ravers: Party!

Aftermovie Glow at W2, 's Hertogenbosch:

Best known for their arty parties in Utrecht, they entertain the students of HKU in Ekko.

2010 was an amazing year for the girls (who also make great sandwiches during the party's). Their residents Beat The Bastardz broke the house down several times, Dem Slackers played for pocket change and for the first edition in 2011 they snared Ambitiebeesten to join the party. This 2011 touchdown will be the 27th of Januari and next to Ambitiebeesten Beat The Bastardz, Hekkla, Krampfhaft and Royal Bastards (live) will also play.
