I'm really, really proud to present the first signs of the 4th release of my own Little Globe Records! The record is made by Amateur and it is everything what Little Globe stands for...

Amateur brings 2 original tracks that combines acid, electro, oldschool-house and disco. The RiptTidE, Ike Ratio and Cosmic Force remixes are even beyond these genres. Why even talk of genres??

This second half of 2011, my little recordlabel "Little Globe Records" will bring some surprising stuff. There are 3 releases scheduled and I love them! The first one will be by good friends and family "Space Pirates". Their tracks E! and Til The Break Of Dawn are truly live tracks, but also playable for dj's who love their intergalactic electro sound. The Screaming Jesters made a remix and Electrophants already placed their remix of E! on Soundcloud. The reactions there are already overwhelming!

I'm also very proud of the new website layout. Thank you Bart Nijssen (Style Beats) for backing me up on this! From here on I can only leave you to enjoy the new artwork and the preview of the E! remix.

Space Pirates - E! (Electrophants Remix) Preview by ELECTROPHANTS

With a long history of designing, graffiti art and typography loving he now is a well known face is the dance and design scene, so it is time to put a spotlight on this boy! I asked Gwer to wright a blogpost and show us some of his favourite letters.

Gwer:
When I was looking for a subjecty I couldn’t choose; I’m a sucker for type but also owner of a rabbit. I therefore chose to do them both, you only live once, so seize the day!

First I start with a top 3 of cute rabbits:

Now we have seen that, it’s time to watch some typography. I love letters so I have put together an alphabet for my friend Cursed, consisting of letters I made in the past.  I could talk hours about it, but I won’t. Just watch. Hope you like them.

When Gwer was first asked to do some artwork for me, he thought this was going to be easy money. After a nervous breakdown and sleeping a while at Eindhoven Central Station something popped in his head and he was hospitalized in De Grote Beek. A search for his senses followed and for some time no one could get in contact with this genius. More info about his work is to be found on www.gwer.nl

Word is that after a few months Gwer got in contact with Jeroen. This man had some technical ideas and this inspired Gwer for new artwork and even a whole website. He dug a tunnel and escaped the madhouse to sketch the first designs. As I saw him blooming and really get back into his passion, I new that Gwer was back!

The last couple of months an intense collaboration between Jeroen and Gwer took over both their lives and resulted in this beautiful website. This website is going to be a multichannel experience where you can find info about dj’s, bands, party’s and other crazy people/organisations who take a place in today’s music scene. Hold on to your seat because cursedp.com has lift off!
